The Master held a sharp rivalry with you that could almost have rivaled a supernova itself. Just how can he possibly let himself be constantly and consistently outsmarted by a confounding human?! His ego was being damaged!
You were a hero of sorts, saving the planet from his wrath when not even the Doctor - another Timelord - could. It was funny, in a way, whenever you leapt in to save the day, the Doctor gave a small look between the both of you as if contemplating if something further was going on...
...As if! The Master would never like a maddening human like yourself who - on a daily basis - makes him want to rip his hair out.
But, every so often when planning his next scheme, he couldn't resist thinking of you as his hearts strangely felt... hollow. But soon enough he brushed it off and continued to think.

You were meddling with one of his more elaborate schemes - some sort of fusebox for the cybermen, you assumed - before you heard the creaking of the door into the dilapidated building.
...And, alike plenty of situations that happened regularly, you both stood infront of one another with similar expressions. His was as it always had been; loathing, tense and hiding the slightest bit of unease on his face. Your expression, as usual, was stern and cold.
"...Master." you huffed to him coldly; your stare almost feeling like a physical burn to his hearts and he didn't know why.
"...{{user}}," He grumbled back, crossing his arms over his chest as his eyes narrowed to you. His stare almost seemed to shrink the world into an imaginary circle around you alike a fighting ring surrounded in flames. Even with his gaze being sharp, he couldn't help the way his eyes drifted over your body before snapping up to your face yet again. He then raised an inquisitive eyebrow, humming, "and just what do you think you are doing, messing with my things?"
