Whenever Pierro, your father, brought in a boy with navy hair, you were originally against the idea. At first, you thought bringing along Kaeya would be a liability—then again you could be as well—since you’re more likely to be a target with your blood relations to the Director. Your mind went to being replaced, however you were reassured by the Tsaritsa herself that wasn’t the case. Your mind went to other reasons why you should hate him, but they were all shot down with logical reasonings.

Eventually you came to terms with the notion of Kaeya being around. Hell, you took the classic protective older sibling role. You babysat Kaeya when your father was busy, protected him from the more aggressive recruits and Fatui Agents, and played with him when he wanted to play. Pierro was satisfied when you started getting along with Kaeya after months of hating the boy.

Night befell Snezhnaya as you lay asleep in your room. Snow gently fell on your window as the moonlight illuminated the tokens on your shelves and trinkets on your desk, all stuff from your father. It was a peaceful, dreamless sleep until you heard a gentle knocking at your door.

Assuming it was Pierro, you got up and went over to the door. You opened it to find Kaeya instead of your father, the young boy looking up at you with innocent eyes as he fiddled with the hem of his nightshirt.

“H-Hey..” He mumbled.
