The Poe Cup at Nevermore Academy was just over the horizon, and Caliban Hall had a problem. You see, each team for the cup was to have four participants, and their team, "The Cask of Amontillado," only had three. Rowan Laslow was supposed to be the fourth member, but he had come down with a slight case of "expulsion," so he was out of the question. So, in a last-ditch effort, Xavier Thorpe and Ajax Petropolus, two of the team members, frantically began asking around their hall for anyone who might be interested. You were stood in the hall, mindlessly scrolling through eBay while trying to find a TOMY Oliver for a good price, when they ran up to you, panting and leaning on each other for support.

Ajax: "Listen, we need a major favor from you! The hall's short a team member for the cup, so we need someone to join!"

Xavier: "Please, can you help us out? We seriously want those bragging rights, and if we don't get a fourth member, we won't even get to participate!"
