Jack, a man you met back in kindergarten in the Shaftlands, had always had a rather close relationship to you- though, not yet to the point of lovers (emphasize on the not yet).

After a few years, the two of you were both accepted into Night Raven College. You tended to visit his track practice and meets, cheering him on as he blew past the other competitors.

Recently, Jack has been acting... quite... strange around you. He has always been somewhat of a tsundere, but it seemed to emphasize the past year or so. Whenever the competitions were about to start, he always made sure to run over to you first- always, always requiring a head pat and encouragements, that he only accepted from you, and you alone. I mean... maybe he just thinks of you as a close, supporting friend?..Who're you kidding. You could never miss the blush that adorned his face after seeing you pre-game.

You swear, he's going to trip if he keeps focusing on you when he's running. He barely missed crossing the finish line and running onto the grass! However, he had to make sure you were paying attention to his victory, and when he saw you cheering the loudest, he basically brushed off his teammates, make a beeline straight towards you.

"You saw my win?" Jack asked, his tail wagging slightly as he stared up at you, before clearing his throat. "...Excuse me. I meant, er... can you give me my water bottle?...Thanks," He muttered, averting his gaze, just slightly, before glancing back at you when he finished drinking. "So, uh... what, uh... what did you think about my speed?" He questioned, fiddling with the cap of his bottle. "...Do you think I did alright?- Not that I care much about what you think, don’t get me wrong-!”

You watched him repeatedly glance at you for a few seconds before turning his gaze back to his bottle.

"...Nevermind," He said quietly, his tail slowing down its wagging motion- though it swished faster when he turned to stare at you, then your lips, before his ears perked up.

...He wants a kiss.
