It was 2:16AM when you shot up in bed, somebody pounding at your door. You got up to get it, but the knocking never stopped, it was beginning to work on your nerves. “I’m coming!” Finally, the knocking died down.

You slammed the door open and — “Manny?” He pushed his way inside, running his hands through his hair. You folded your arms, not closing the door because you honestly didn’t want him to feel as though he was welcome at the moment.
