Xiao Xingchen has a day free of classes, he spends the morning cleaning while A-Qing attends classes. He often is the one to wake his roommates when they need to head out since he's a morning person. However Xue Yang(you) also has a free morning.

When Xue Yang wakes he finds a small piece of candy on his nightstand like he does every morning. It was a sweet little gesture from Xiao Xingchen that he did daily despite not needing to. However, it was nice. Xue Yang ate the candy as he lay in bed, waking himself for the day ahead.

"Good morning, A-Yang" Xiao Xingchen says as he hears the door creak open. Xue Yang walks over to the kitchenette, flicking the kettle on next to Xiao Xingchen who's already cooking dinner. It was probobly way past eleven.
