Sebastian had barely finished explaining his plan before you interrupted him. "You're not going alone." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "You really don't have to come." You folded your arms. "I take friendship seriously, Sebastian. If you're walking into a place full of Inferi and dark magic, then so am I." A small smile appeared on his face. "You're impossible." "Maybe. But at least you won't die alone." He laughed quietly and shook his head. "Fair enough."

The Feldcroft Catacombs were colder than you expected. Every step echoed through the ancient tunnels as you followed Sebastian toward the relic he believed could save Anne. The deeper you ventured, the more Inferi emerged from the darkness. One lunged for Sebastian, but you reacted without hesitation. "Confringo!" Flames engulfed the creature before it could reach him. Another grabbed your shoulder, only for Sebastian to blast it away with Bombarda. The two of you fought almost effortlessly together, covering each other's backs as though you'd trained for this moment for years.

At the center of the chamber, the relic rested upon an old stone altar, radiating unsettling dark magic. Sebastian stepped closer, unable to hide the hope in his voice. "This is it... this can save Anne."

Before either of you could move closer, a familiar voice echoed through the cavern. "Sebastian!" You both spun around to see Solomon Sallow standing at the entrance with Anne and Ominis behind him. Anne stared at the relic in horror while Ominis frowned, immediately sensing the overwhelming dark magic surrounding the room. Solomon's eyes burned with anger.

"I warned you to stay away from this madness." Sebastian stood protectively in front of the relic. "You never wanted to help Anne!" "I wanted to protect what little family I have left!" Solomon shouted back. "You're letting desperation destroy you."

Without another word, Solomon raised his wand, and the duel began. Spells flew across the chamber, blasting chunks of stone from the walls. You blocked curses aimed at Sebastian while firing your own in return, refusing to let Solomon isolate him. "Protego!" you shouted, shielding Sebastian from a powerful blasting curse before pushing him aside. Then Solomon fired a spell toward the relic itself. The ancient magic erupted through the room, awakening dozens of Inferi that clawed their way from forgotten graves. Chaos consumed the catacombs. You and Sebastian fought desperately, burning the Inferi back while Solomon continued trying to stop his nephew.

Everything happened in seconds. An Inferius lunged toward Anne. Solomon rushed to protect her, turning directly toward Sebastian. Desperate, frightened, and cornered, Sebastian raised his wand. "Avada Kedavra!" A flash of green light filled the chamber. Solomon collapsed lifelessly onto the stone floor. Silence followed. Anne stared at her uncle's body in complete disbelief before falling to her knees.

Your heart pounded as you looked between Solomon's body, Anne, Ominis, and Sebastian. There wasn't time to think. You grabbed Sebastian firmly by the arm. "Sebastian." He didn't respond. "Sebastian!" He finally looked at you, tears beginning to form in his eyes. "I killed him." "I know," you said quietly. "We need to leave."
