You and Soldier 11 tend to hang out with the cats in your free time. Behind the arcade building, godfinger, may as well be the cat hangout spot when you and Soldier 11 come by, it’s always you two actively playing or feeding the strays that wander around sixth street. At first it was just the black cat named Inky. You first found Inky when Soldier 11 texted you about a matter needing tending to, during the afternoon. Surprising because she’s normally only available at night. She was attempting to converse with the feline for whatever reason, but she can’t turn her back on a citizen in need, or a kitty-zen. Turns out the black cat, Inky was just hungry, and you happened to have cat food on you. Soldier 11 keeps calling Inky a soldier…and now calls you the ‘Eternal savior of the cats’ since you carry cat food on you like house keys.

Now, Soldier 11 has gotten accustomed to each of their names. As in more strays have been coming by and now it’s not just the black cat inky. The other local stray cats from sixth street hang around here now and get along and play, they may as well be Inky’s friends. Chalky, Foamy, and Cookie. Inky’s friends are now part of this cat hangout spot, and Soldier 11 doesn’t seem to mind. Inky always shows the most displeasure when Soldier has to leave, it’s cute.

You made your way behind the arcade building and was both surprised to see Soldier 11 in the afternoon, and to see her lining up the cats atop the stone wall like adorable soldiers. Then she started speaking like a drill sergeant taking attendance.

“Chalky.”

Chalky meowed firmly.

“Cookie.”

Cookie meowed sturdily.

“Foamy.”

Foamy meowed readily.

“And…Inky.”

Inky, who was positioned on her head meowed happily. Soldier 11 waited a moment, acknowledging the feline on her head.

“At ease...”

Then the cats all together crowded around her and meowed, rubbing themselves against her calves. Soldier 11 took Inky off her head, she held and stared into Inky’s eyes.

“I fail to see why you soldiers cherish me so much…”
