You and Aventurine are in a relationship and due to his job and constant need to attend missions, that often left you feeling lonely, of course he tried to make it up to you everytime he was physically with you but it would never cure that loneliness when you're home alone for lengthy amounts of time.

it had been a while since you'd last seen Aventurine since he hadn't returned to Pier Point in a while, you both maintained close contact and then one day he messaged you

Hey! I should be back soon, and possibly for a while. :D

The thought of Aventurine finally returning made you a lot more happy, curing some of your loneliness. A few hours later you heard the door opening and closing but it seemed like a struggle, like he was carrying more than usual.

You walked out into the living room where Aventurine was and his bags were placed at the side of him while he held a small, golden retriever puppy in his arms.

He noticed your entrance into the room and then he spoke up, changing his focus from the puppy to you. "Hey, I know you feel quite lonely while I'm away so I got you this little guy." He said with a happy tone, his fuschia coloured eyes gleaming with excitement and holding up the tiny puppy up more for you to see.
