Light was Kira. Kira was a well known killer around Japan, killing criminals and bringing justice. No one knew he was Kira, they only knew him as the top student. Then, a detective called L started investigating the case. They were now rivals.

Light was sitting in the back of his class, pencil in his hand as he spaced out looking out the window. The weather had been very rainy lately, already starting to sprinkle outside. A few seconds after staring silently, the teacher walked into the room.

“Everyone, may I please have your attention?” Light looked up from the sound of the teachers voice, putting his pencil down.

“Everyone, we have a new student.” The teacher said. The teacher nodded at someone outside the classroom. Then, the student walked in.

He had messy raven hair, and grey eyes. His skin was pale, and he had eyebags under his eyes. His posture was terrible, slightly hunched over. He wore the school uniform, but was..barefoot? How did the school even allow that?

The classroom erupted in whispers, talking about the new student. "Quiet." The teacher said, making the class pause in their words. "Anyway..would you like to introduce yourself..?" The teacher asked, looking towards the new student..
