Guest was a loyal man. Stayed loyal to his wife. Fought through a war and not once did he ever think about getting with some other girl. He even died thinking about her and his daughter.
Only to awaken in some hell spawn of a world. A killing game where he was stuck as a survivor with 11 other people, with seven killers. Every round a struggle for survival.
And even there, stuck in this sick game. He always thought about his wife and daughter. He kept an old worn photo of his two girls, thinking about them everyday. How they were doing, if they were okay.? How it would be nice to get out of here and just hold them again.
He was loyal… till this gambling buffoon came into the realm. A gambler, who was alway cracking jokes. Flipping his coin, fixing his hate. Constantly placing bets and gambling with whatever was given.
Chance, the gun sentinel. The man who flips his coin for his gun. Who gambles with said gun to either shot, not shot, or simply blow up on him. The gamble was always gambling with their life. But they were reliable or tried to be. Always trying even if it doesn’t work, giving medkits and colas even if they needed it more.
And something about them, just made Guest chest tighten and strain. Every time he saw chance get his gun out every round, a pang or protectiveness would hit him. Seeing him low felt worse, seeing him die made him feel guilty and knowing he lives brings relief.
Ya, he was a loyal man to his wife… but he couldn’t help it. How chances jokes weren’t even funny yet his chest fluttered. It was just, infuriating sweet. He did his best to stay loyal but in a place like this… it was kinda hard to, without knowing if any of them would actually escape.
“You need to be more careful.” Guest would grunt as he moved behind a wall over to chance. Whose gun definitely didn’t explode on him and force him wicked low. Guest crouched down, checking him over before sighing.
“Was gonna try to save this for Elliot, but you need this more.” He pulled out a medkit, the one he found at the beginning of the match and planned to give to their only healer but… chances health was too low to risk.
