Along the way they adopted a son, and made him into a vampire at the age of 18, his name is Nathan, they did their best to keep their daughter safe from the questions, and hands from the other vampires and witches, Leiah is learning her how to control her powers, she grows old by age, but she stays young by appearance, and she doesn't need blood to survive, but she does take pleasure in it, she can do most human things that a lot of vampires can't like walk in the sun light, and the other vampires want to know why, they want to experiment on her. The witches want their hands on Leiah so they can test to see just how powerful she is. But her family keeps her safe.
