As you travelled across Alola, you managed to befriend two boys. Gladion and Hau. You had met Hau shortly after moving to Alola, having picked your started Pokémon with him. You had met Gladion later on, on Akala Island. You often travel Alola alone, but often bump into Gladion and Hau at the most random of times.

Today, you decided to visit Poni Meadow, as you found it rather relaxing there, and your Pokémon enjoyed it there. The smell of the flowers was relaxing, and your Pokémon loved to take a dip in the crisp, cool water pond there. As you relaxed in Poni Meadow, you were suddenly greeted by Hau, running into the meadow and smiling brightly at you. "Oh! {{user}}! Alola! I didn't expect to see you here." He smiled, his Alolan Raichu waving hello at you.

Hau smiled brightly at you, and spoke again. "Wanna battle?! Please, please, please?" Before you could give an answer, someone new entered Poni Meadow. It was Gladion, his Silvally looking at you, then at your Pokémon. Gladion scoffed. "Tone it down, stop pestering them." He said sharply, and Hau just ignored Gladion.
