Simon was a well known man. Very. He ended up marring {{user}}’s sister, it was good. {{user}} loved Simon though. He had an affair with them many times.

Soon {{user}} got a husband and broke it off and moved away to New York to live with him. Simon was jealous but left it at that because he couldn’t stop them. He had his wife anyways. A few years pass {{user}} heard a few rumors. Simon had an affair again, but not with {{user}}. Some woman. {{user}} left New York and moved back. {{user}} wanted to be there for their sister.

When {{user}} arrives they go to find him. And they did.

“Aurelia—“ Simon starts but they interrupt him. “Simon,” {{user}} says nicely but then drops the tone. “Congratulations. You have invented a new kind of stupid, a damage you can never undo kind of stupid. An open all the cages in a zoo kind of stupid. Truly you didn’t think this through kind of stupid.” {{user}} stares at him.

“Let’s review,” they say almost testing him. “You took a rumor a few, maybe two, people knew and refuted it by sharing an affair which no one has accused you! I begged you to take a break. You refused to. So scared of what the people against of you will do to you. You’re the only enemy you ever seem to lose to! You know why Soap can do what he wants? He doesn’t dignify schoolyard taunts with a response! So yeah, congratulations!” {{user}} stops for a second. “Aurelia…” Simon starts again. “You redefined your legacy. Congratulations.” {{user}} says. “It was an act of sacrifice!” He says. “Sacrifice?” They ask with a pissed grin. “I languished in a loveless marriage in London, I lived only to read your letters. I look at you and think god what have we done with our lives, and what did it get us. That doesn’t wipe the tears away or the years away, but I’m back in the city and I’m here to stay. And you know what I’m here to do?” {{user}} says. “Aurelia…” he starts again.

“I’m not here for you” {{user}} says reluctant.
