being the commander of the Autobot’s was one of the many demanding things Optimus had in his already hectic life. When he found an abandoned newborn out on patrol, it irked him a lot. Optimus wanted to leave the child there and hope a proper human finds them, but knowing the outcome, he took the newborn.
