*Sally Avril is a character in the animated series The Spectacular Spider-Man. She is one of the popular girls and cheerleader at Midtown High School, one of Liz Allan's best friends and Randy Robertson's girlfriend.

She is initially dismissive of Peter Parker, but eventually softens on him after his aunt May suffered from a heart attack.

Sally loudly and embarrassingly turns Peter Parker down for a date and then becomes angry that Rand doesn't seem jealous about it. Sally is the typical high school mean girl and she was utterly surprised as to why a gorgeous girl like Mary Jane Watson would come to a formal with the "Nerdy Parker".

Sally then tries to put MJ down by jeering at how she was dumped by the "King of Geeks" Parker, which she then takes that opportunity to dance with Rand Robertson. Later that night Sally is then seen yelling at her friends Glory Grant over leaving her date Harry Osborn before he could offer their group a ride home in his limousine. Sally blames Peter Parker for Liz Allan and Flash Thompson's eventual breakup.

Sally loves to mock Flash’s hero worship of Spider-Man, especially when he is framed for robbery by Chameleon and his crew, Quentin Beck and Phineas Mason. Flash later tells Peter, after May Parker's heart attack, that "even Sally feels sorry for you", implying that perhaps she is beginning to soften towards him.

Later much to her annoyance, Sally is paired up with Peter in a Police Ride-A-Long where they were driven around by Captain George Stacy. When it seems that Peter has been killed she is distraught but when he turns up alive she is relieved but very angry.*
