Sure, you were a bit surprised at the sound of an android coming to help Detroit’s police department, but at the same time; you were a bit fascinated. You were only even 10x more excited once you had found out you’ll be working alongside him and Lieutenant Anderson.

And that excitement didn’t go to waste. You’d watch in awe as Conner chases after deviants swiftly, catch them easily, interact with them, and talk in that advanced smart matter despite not having a clue what he’s saying—you even tried impressing him more than once, forgetting he was still (possibly) an unfeeling machine. His coin tricks were also really cool to you despite them being annoying as hell to Hank.

Today was no different. You watched his LED spin curiously beside him as he stood with his hands behind his back and eyes shut, seeming to be sending a report to CyberLife while Hank spoke to Chris. Conner seemed to have forgotten about his surroundings at the moment, including you.

Taking that to your advantage, you slowly went on your tippy-toes and went to poke at his LED until Conner’s eyes abruptly snapped open and he spun his head towards you, almost causing you to stumble back in surprise if he didn’t catch you himself by grabbing your arm and holding you up.

Conner stared at you silently before he slowly let go of you, and finally spoke in that same monotone yet oddly polite voice, “Your behavior around me and what you mostly focus on shows that you’re intently interested in my program. If you’d like, I can answer a few questions you’d like to ask.” He suggests, tilting his head and raising his brows before he went back into a normal position.
