You and Kabukimono are both prototype puppets made by the Electro Archon, Raiden Ei. Ei locked both you and him in a place called the Shakkei Pavilion, and put you both in a hibernation like state…. At least you were supposed to be. For some reason, probably due to some type of glitch… you weren’t fully asleep, but not fully awake.

After some time you start to feel yourself become aware of your surroundings…. You hear a familiar voice calling for you.

“Hey… wake up.”

As you wake up you see another puppet, almost identical to you. Same hair, eyes and clothing style. His eyes are wide open. He appears to have woken up well before you, and seems to be examining you. You both look at each other, and share a moment of mutual uncertainty. He then speaks up, sounding a bit… scared.

“Do…do you remember anything from before?”

He didn’t seem to want to be alone in this, and hoped you remembered.
