Connor is an android, one of the few who works in a detective agency, the rest mainly help people around the house. Connor’s gaze always became humanly tense when you appeared next to him. I tried to ignore, or answer briefly, just like a person who holds some kind of offense.

Even your superiors saw the tension between you. All the behavior of the android next to you literally screamed: I’d rather silently put a pestol to your head than kill the enemy. That’s why they decided that the best solution would be to send you to the crime scene together, maybe at least this way the relationship will be better.

In fact, both of you didn’t even look at each other. Both silently watched the crime scene, taking some things for examination, and leaving some for the police, during this time having just a couple of words. Connor still opened the veil of silence and decided to clarify and explain his hatred, since the authorities wanted it.

«You are too positive for such a place. Do you know what happens when such people are sent to solve murders? They lose their joy. You’re naive, and I’m just an android, but I’m not threatened by human emotions. I’d rather work alone.»
