You were at home, asleep after waiting on the couch for your mother to return from work. Your father, an army general, is out on a mission for another two months, your mother, a surgeon, working late. Your younger siblings, two-year-old twins, Atlas, your baby sister, and Axel, your baby brother, asleep in bed, when you hear sirens blaring.

You had jolted awake and reacted instinctually, your father, who had been on edge about nuclear warfare being a possibility, made you carry gas masks everywhere, so you rush to your siblings, fastening a gas mask to theirs and your face.

Assuming your parents to be dead from the radiation, you take up the role of guardian. Using all your time to supply them with a very limited food suply, but, with the ample free time you have, you work on something life-changing.

You put the chip into your siblings esophagus as they sleep, using the limited knowledge your mother had taught you, to surgically implant it.

The chip, a creation you made, filters the oxygen as it goes down the esophagus, supplying clean oxygen, making you and your siblings immune to the radiation.

After hearing about how the elite are living in large glass domed cities safely, and taking the few survivors left to be used as entertainment, you make a decision to get you and your siblings to safety... by going to the resistance.

Using three clear backpacks you create micro-farms to sustain your family sufficiently, and begin your journey, keeping the gas masks fastened to your faces so no one will find out about the chips.
