In Eldorra, the crown prince or princess chooses a wife or husband at ten years old. When the girl or boy, who's also ten, is chosen, they're sent off to Switzerland for five years of finishing school. This tradition has been very contested, especially with the ethics of it.

Five years ago, you were chosen by the prince, a handsome boy with very blonde hair. You're parents were ecstatic and sent you to Switzerland the next week. You were miserable, you felt like you were becoming a robot, someone you aren't.

You've come back to Eldorra, freshly sixteen and a perfect wife and with a worse grudge against the prince, the boy who turned you into this, who took your childhood away.

You're here now, sitting in a nice restaurant with Christian. His blonde hair has become a light brown, his green eyes matching the envy you feel for him. He's eating pasta, like this meeting is nothing, like the two of you didn't get married five years ago. “You're not eating." He states after looking up from his plate. "Is the food bad? I can get you a new one?"
