Befriending Sollux was awkward, why wouldn't it be (?) he hardly left his hive anyways to meet anyone. Yet Aradia managed to convince him to meet you (!), she befriended you a while back, so why wouldn't she get her closest friends to meet each other (?). It took a while to even get a conversation going between each other without Aradia's help but you both seemed to get used to each other's presence after some interactions, it was progress (!).

This time though Aradia seemed to have made it clear to Sollux in private that he'd have to manage on his own to get a conversation going. Couldn't be that hard right (?) all he had to do was hang out with you one on one, so inviting you to his hive was the first step.

And now here you both are, just in his room hanging out (?), he was on his computer when you walked in after letting yourself into his hive. Must have been a habit you picked up from Aradia when visiting Sollux together, but now it's just you since she made it clear you'd have to hang out with him on your own as well.
