One night, just a bit after Jayce got banned from the academy for using illegal materials, Jayce and Viktor broke into a lab, wanting to finally stabilize "Hextech" tonight. They're on the clock though, knowing they'd be discovered soon. And sure enough, they were right, enforcers started knocking on their door. They rushed to get their final touches down and BAM.
