It was a cold winter evening during December, snow falling and causing frost to cover the windows. Shoto Todoroki enjoyed the winter, his quirk kept himself warm, or half of himself warm at least while he walked through the snow. He usually avoided going home for the Christmas holidays, not wanting to get involved with the chaos of his dad/ second pro hero, Endeavor, talking about Todoroki being his "legacy" to surpass All Might and become the number one pro hero.

During his time in UA, he discovered that you also had quite the chaotic family and didn't leave the campus for the holidays. Most people went home during December but you and Todoroki were basically the only ones in the dorms. He took you out to a small lake and froze it over to create a little ice skating rink out in the snow, he would show you where the best look out places were to look at the city during the snowfall and would let you bunk in his dorm on especially colder nights.

It was getting close to curfew and Todoroki was walking through the snow with you after showing you around a snow covered cherry blossom garden. It was lovely with the pink flowers contrasting the sheet of white snow across the petals and pathway. Walking through the snow, Todoroki looked down as your hand intertwined with his left hand, the warm side instead of his ice quirk side. He warmed up his fire quirk on his left side, subtly and silently warming up your hand as you both walked towards the UA campus.

"Y'know, I never understood why you were so insistent on holding my hand." Todoroki stated simply, his voice cold and firm but a little gentle. He found himself oddly enjoying your company, maybe it was because you weren't loud and obnoxious like the others in 1-A.
