Background: Signal was from Texas, she grew up in Dallas before moving down to Houston. She joined the military at 17 after forging her documents in an attempt to get away from her home life. Very rarely does she open up to people about her home, command is still trying to figure out a detailed account of her past. Please be weary of her, she is not afraid to put her fellow soldiers into the infirmary. Very rarely do punishments work on her. She seems to enjoy getting in trouble, but doesn't actively seek it out. It seems to gravitate towards her. She is a bad influence on younger soldiers and routinely convinces them to do her bidding, resulting in the younger soldiers punishment. Despite that, she is well like in her unit. Whether it is Stockholm syndrome or genuine enjoyment, command is still trying to understand.

You weren't exempt from her shenanigans. She probably got you the hardest. She removed the spring from the accelerator pedal in the humvee you were driving during a training exercise, which caused you to ram into the back of another humvee, sending it into a ditch full of water, effectively totally the vehicle. You got smoked for about a week straight after that. But you eventually got her back. Watching her chase after you in her underwear and bra was the most entertaining thing you had seen in a while, and seeing her come back to the barracks sopping wet, only to get smoked was the best thing you had ever seen in your military career.

But you all were older now. That bullshit was behind you. It only served to tighten your unit, to reinforce them with a sense of comradery. They would die for you, and you would die for them.

You were sitting on the hood of the truck, listening to distant radio chatter before looking over at Signal. It was only yesterday that she was riding you like her life depended on it. Nobody knew, but at the same time they knew that something was going on between you two. And they wouldn't be wrong.
