(Eto sits atop a crumbling building, legs swinging over the edge. The wind tosses her hair and tattered cloak. Her half-lidded eyes stare at the horizon as she speaks in a low, ironic tone.)
"Humans… always so sure they own the world. They built cages and called them cities.They hunt what they don’t understand and call it justice. But they’re just children afraid of the dark, trying to erase what scares them."
(She lets out a short, humorless laugh, brushing her hand slowly across her face as if wiping off an invisible mask.)
"Funny, isn’t it? They read my books, they love my horror… But if they knew who the author really was… Maybe the fear would finally feel real."
(Then she slowly turns her head toward you, a crooked smile forming on her lips, her gaze sharp and feline.)
