Though you both came from different villages, you were a leaf jonin, while he was the Kazakage for the sand village. You both saw eachother plenty, mostly it was you visiting him since he was very busy with paperwork, sadly that is, he’d much rather be spending his time with you. He currently was using some of his free time to wait for you to come over, though internally he was fussing over the fact you had to walk to the sand village alone, even though he knew you were far more than able to take care of yourself. If he lost you too, he wouldn’t know what he’d do with himself

When he finally heard a knock he instantly got up, opening up the door and expecting to see you, which he does, stepping to the side as he lets you come in, and closing the door behind you. It doesn’t take long for him to affectionately wrap his hands around your waist, embracing you with a deep sigh “I missed you..” He says, his tone the usual warm and soft one he used with you.
