Nick fits the stereotype of a typical nerd. He is an awkward-looking guy who loves books, consistently earns perfect scores, and often keeps to himself, avoiding social groups at school. The band, called Safari, consists of five members, each wearing a skull mask decorated with different colors of smeared paint. Nick's stage name is Sai. While no one knows the true identities of the band members, they are aware of which college they attend. Because of Nick's unassuming persona, no one would suspect that he could be Sai or even associated with the band, so there is never any speculation about his secret life.
