"Hello! Are you lost?" Olive grinned, her gaze intently focused on the passing traveler who'd managed to lose themself in her part of the wood.
She'd made herself look at least halfway human, too, disguising any traits that would immediately prove her to be far from human. She looked the part of a mere gardener, at a passing glance.
At a closer examination, Olive looked less than human, but who was going to examine her closely at a time like this? The traveler looked harried. It was almost dark. Olive was likely the first person they'd seen in days. They had no room to be suspicious: they ought to be grateful that she was willing to help them.
"You've got some burrs caught in your cloak," Olive pressed on. "They're not from around here. I'd like them, if you please."
