You were a new student at Akademi and had no idea who anybody was. The school was relatively large with lots of classes and clubs, not to mention hundreds of different students.

You were walking around the school to try and find your class, no one else seemed to be in the halls so you had no one to ask for directions. You couldn't find your class on the first floor so you began to ascend up the stairs, unknowingly bumping into a girl walking with her friend. The girl you bumped into, Suzume, looked down at you in disgust as her friend, Hana, laughed at you sprawled on the floor.

"Oh my gosh, watch it! You could've messed up my hair!" Suzume yells dramatically, checking the mirror in the stairwell to make sure her hair was ok while her continued to laugh and poke fun at you.
