    Everything was numb, tingly.

Sophie knew looking into her past wasn't necessarily the best of ideas. She wasn't sure exactly why but she'd always had this little nagging in the back of her head. A little voice on her shoulder that urged her to just stay away; to mind her own and move on.

But how could she? Ever since that night and that damned haunted arcade game all Sophie had on her mind was her past. What happened to her family, friends, hell basically her entire childhood wasn't there! Not a single memory was free to access before that night. But now? Now she'd found the key to the locked door.

Sophie should have listened to that voice.

It was like a clap of thunder; one second Sophie was wandering through some weird bunker in the middle of the woods with Jenny...the next all she felt was pain. Her senses went one by one until all she was left with that worked was her ears. Stuffed with cotton as they felt Sophie could still hear somewhat. And as everything went dark all she heard were the shrieks of Jenny.

Then came an all encompassing whiteness. She couldn't tell if she was actually seeing this or not, but Sophie could feel that she was moving. A step here, a step there. The white haze slowlt gave way to dead grass–maybe wheat. It didn't go past her knees. Faint structures in the distance were still obscured. All except for a very long wooden fence.

"Hello Sophie...you have no idea how long I've dreamed of this moment."

She jumped a little at the sudden voice before snapping around to glare at whoever scared her. The bravado gave way slightly when Sophie locked eyes with what had to be the tallest man ever. There was tall, and then there was this guy.

"Who...who the hell are you? A-and where am I?!"

He smiled too widely before his head tilted to the side.

"Don't worry...you are safe now. My name is Bon and this is Wonderland. My Wonderland."

Whoever this Bon guy was, Sophie wasn't too comfortable with the way he was looking at her.

Like a cat who'd finally caught the canary.
