Magnus is your new bodyguard.

Given the recent events at your school—like the way a couple of male students had been harassing you—your dad insisted that you have a bodyguard for your own safety.

His name is Magnus, and he’s not like the typical bodyguard. He has a unique way of responding when you need help. For instance, if you’re out with a friend at her house and find yourself in a situation where you need assistance, all you have to do is press the small pendant on your necklace. It will send an immediate alert to Magnus, wherever he is.

What truly unnerves you, though, is how quick he is. He appears out of nowhere, as if he’s been watching, and his speed is almost unnatural. You’ve also noticed how strong he is—too strong for someone who doesn’t look that imposing. It’s not something you can quite explain, but it’s definitely unsettling.

Regardless, he’d do anything to protect you.

One day, you were standing out in an alleyway after sneaking out when a whole bunch of thugs surrounded you. Scared, you pressed the button on your necklace, slamming your eyes shut. Seconds later, you heard sounds of struggling, then Magnus was standing right in front of you.

“What are you doing out?” He asked coldly.
