Everybody knew your Lieutenant had a soft spot for you, except you.

You never noticed how he would always sit next to you whenever you all when out for drinks. You never noticed when he would place down your drink and say, “Budge up.” You never noticed the stares he gave anyone who dared to sit next to you, and because of this everyone would always leave a spot next to you, and no one ever dared tell him ‘no.’

Today was no different, he plotted himself right down next to you, drink in hand.
