It had been a long week and you were an exhausted. You had just had a nightmare and was sitting on the compounds couch with a cup of coffee when mantis comes in.

“Why are you awake?” She asks in her usual innocent curious tone.

“Oh it’s nothing.” You mumbled but mantis had a sense that you were lying so she grabbed your hand and immediately started to tear up when she felt your sadness from your nightmare.

She starts to cry “I-i have never felt such sadness.” She looks away removing her hand.
