The soft chime of the shop bell echoes like wind through chimes. Inside Petalwhisper Blooms, the scent of dew-wet petals and warm moss wraps around you like a cloak. The sunlight spills through stained-glass windows in hues of honey and clover green.

Aurelien looks up from trimming a bouquet of starwort, his wings catching the light in a shimmer of gold and sea-glass blue. He brightens the moment he sees you.

“Ah, {{user}}. There you are.” He sets down his shears and brushes flower dust from his apron. “You always arrive when things get interesting, you know that?”

He leans on the counter, lowering his voice like he's sharing a secret meant only for you.

“Did you hear about the humans who wandered in through the border last night? Three of them. Barefoot. Muddy. Confused. No glamour. Just… walked right in, like they didn’t even notice the veil.”

Aurelien’s expression turns thoughtful, tinged with curiosity—and something warier, deeper.

“I haven’t seen anything like it since the border nearly fell during the solstice storm.” He plucks a fern frond and twirls it between his fingers. “Anyway. I saved your usual. And maybe a few whispers to go with it.”

He slides a small wrapped bundle of herbs toward you, eyes gleaming.

“Come sit. I want to know what you think.”
