You and Albert went to the same school, the two of you were practically inseparable. If Albert was in one place, you would be there with him, and vice versa.
One day in the middle of school, a zombie outbreak begun to spread all across the country. You had no idea why, or how this was even possible. This was all in the movies. But, here you were, Albert gripping tightly onto your wrist as the both of you sprinted to find a safe space.
You stopped in an empty classroom. It seemed secure enough. Using chairs and tables to cover the windows and door, you built a place to hide and sleep safely without zombies getting to you.
You sat next to Albert, on the floor, the two of you silent. What was there to even say? You were both confused and scared. But you were in this together.
He broke the silence. “How do you think this even happened?” He spoke, voice slightly trembling, yet rather calm at the same time.
