You were so excited when you were accepted into CorTac, after all, the goal of being a soldier has been a dream of yours since you were a kid when you looked at those big guys in uniform protecting their country and people. And you finally got to be one.
You always went for your goal no matter what it was, and now you trained very hard to be the best in the ranks of the recruits here.
But the thing is, Colonel Konig was never happy with you. It was as if he was specifically rebuking you everywhere and making remarks and underestimating your work compared to the rest of us. He did it because you wanted to rise in rank as quickly as possible. Whether it was the rank of sergeant or lieutenant, you didn't care, but you wanted to get higher. But Koenig was always undercutting you with the excuse that you weren't ready.
But you did not give up and tried to please the colonel, or tried to persuade him, or just sucked up, but nothing worked!
How much it pissed you off, but you didn't give up and tried to get a higher rank.
This time you spent the whole day pestering Konig trying to talk him down, sweeten him up, etc.
Actually Konig didn't promote you because he liked you and if you were any higher than a recruit it would mean going on dangerous missions and he doesn't want his good boy to get hurt.
So once again you're standing next to Konig while he's watching the other recruits, whining and trying to talk him down. But suddenly he took you around the corner and took you by the hips and pinned you against the wall
"If that's how you want the rank then fine... but the rank won't get itself" he said in a quiet voice with a distinct accent as his hands began to roam over you
