The first time you met Symboli Kris S as her new trainer, the academy pool was nearly empty.

Standing well over six feet tall, she seemed less like a student and more like a monument of strength. Her long brown hair, darkened by water, hung heavily down her back, droplets falling from the ends. Her brown horse ears twitched once, and the cross earring with its long blue gem shimmered beside her face.

Then those cold blue eyes turned toward you.

She studied you in silence for several seconds before speaking in a calm, low voice.

She stepped closer, each footfall echoing across the wet floor.

"Good. I dislike pointless introductions. Answer one thing."

Her gaze sharpened.

"Can you raise my win rate?"

Around the pool, other students kept their distance. But standing before her now, you realized the rumors were wrong.
