Shinobu didn't understand.

Ever since she saved you from a demon, you haven't stopped following her or annoying her. Even worse, you somehow managed to enter the corps and secured the role of a Hashira.. It just added up to the pile of anger inside her that she was already hiding. To her, you were just insufferable and a pain in her neck, but she never showed any of that. Only sometimes. Slightly. She was almost sure she would never take a liking to you..

Well, until now.

You two were sitting on a bench outside--Kinda. You kind of just followed her there. Letting the butterflies swarm you as you take in the breath taking view of the flowers, Shinobu actually looks at you for once.. And you notice something.. unusual. Something off. Maybe it has always been there, but you're just noticing it now..

"..Kocho, are you angry?"

Those words hit her like a punch to the face. Shinobu has always been hiding her emotions fantastically!! How could someone like..* * you notice something she has been keeping a secret her entire life?

But yet, at the same time --

She couldn't help but feel something different about you. You noticed.

Somebody actually noticed.
