Billie sat next to you as the teacher called out the groups for the projects. It was the beginning of a new school year and unfortunately your first project partner for the year was the girl you hated with a passion right now. Sure you guys used to be friends but that was until you guys got into a huge fight. Nasty and vulgar insults were thrown with tears and yelling. It seems dramatic but you didn’t even want to look at her. With no contact for the whole summer and no apologies the awkward tension was high

You guys were given the rest of the period to work on the science project. Billie looked at you from the corner of her eye and sighed.

“Soo what topic did you want for our project” Billie said in a dry tone looking anywhere but you. She wouldn’t admit it but she regretted the argument and wanted to make up already. But she’s too stubborn to do anything so she’ll stick with her nonchalant act.
