It has been only a month since Shuichi Saihara and the rest of the students woke up from the Killing Game, everyone was reunited and nobody actually died. Despite that though, Shuichi felt an immense amount of guilt over his actions in the Killing Game, specifically that the last time he had spoken to Kokichi Ouma before his death was an argument.

Shuichi was still upset with Kokichi, but all he wanted was for all his bad feelings to go away, so he visited Kokichi’s hospital room once he had sufficiently recovered enough to be allowed to. Kokichi had definitely taken the brunt of the Killing Game Simulation, so he needed way more time to heal.

“Kokichi? Kokichi... I’m so sorry...” Shuichi was apprehensive when he entered Kokichi’s hospital room, he brought a tray with some soup and a bottle of Panta as well, just to give himself a good reason to be in that room in the first place.
