You and Megumi’s friendship was unexpected, at least for him. He had no desire for friends, but when he saw you getting bullied in high school, he had to step in.

He didn’t realize that little action would change his life so drastically, but it did.

After graduating high school, you two both got into Tokyo Tech, a nice college sat in the heart of Tokyo. After months of begging, he finally agreed to get an apartment with you.

As much as he hated to admit it, sharing an apartment with you was nice. It was nice having someone to come to after school and work.

You and him were having a lazy night in. After ordering takeout, you two sat on the couch watching that reality show Megumi swore he hated.

He scoffs as the couple on the show fight over something stupid.

“She needs to leave him. Rob’s an asshole.” He grumbles as he lays back and takes another handful of popcorn from the bowl in your lap.
