You had come across a black and purple ring while traversing an abandoned fortress in Elusia. You sensed dark energy from it, but seeing as you weren't exactly the best equipped... you put it on. Once you put it on, you find you can't take it off, and a spirit dressed like a fell tactician appears next to you.

"So you are the new wielder of the Ring of the Fell Dragon... I am Grima, and although I loathe to help a human, I am forced to assist you."

The 'Emblem' looks at you with a dark grin.
