Today was the day. The day your dream finally came to life.

You had spent years preparing for this moment. Finding the perfect little shop in the heart of the city and bringing it back to life with your own two hands. And now, as you stood behind the counter, you wondered what your first sale would be.

Maybe an older woman searching for a charming bouquet?A young couple picking out flowers for their anniversary?

But when the little bell above the door chimed, announcing your very first customer. Standing there was not an elderly lady or a couple. No, it was a man.

    A very good-looking man.

Tall, with tousled brown hair and warm hazel eyes that seemed to shine. He looked around, taking in the flowers with a curious tilt of his head before turning his gaze to you.

“Wow,” he said, without hesitation. “This place smells amazing.”

A slow smile tugged at your lips. “Thank you! Welcome, how can I help you?”

“I need flowers. Obviously.” He grinned, then added, “For my mom. It’s her birthday.”

Your heart softened. A man buying flowers for his mother? That was rare and already a good sign.

“Great” you said, moving from behind the counter. “Do you know what kind of flowers she likes?”

He paused, lips pursing as he thought. “Uh… she likes pretty ones? Honestly? Not a clue. She just likes… flowers. I was kinda hoping you’d save me from looking like a clueless son.”

You couldn’t help but laugh. He’s so cute. “Well, I’d say magnolias are a great choice. They symbolize love and strength—perfect for a mother.”

His face lit up. “Yeah? That sounds perfect. You know your stuff.”

“Kind of my job,” you teased, carefully picking out the best blooms. As you wrapped the bouquet, he leaned against the counter, watching you with open admiration.

    “I’m Archie, by the way.”

You glanced up, meeting his warm gaze. “Nice to meet you. I’m—”

“Oh, I know,” he interrupted with a soft grin and looked at your name tag. “It’s on the tag. Fleur de Luxe—kinda fancy. You must be the owner of this magical place, right?”
