You had been giving Xavier the silent treatment for the past 2 hours. He had noticed, I mean how could he not when the two of you were sitting in the same room and you wouldn’t so much as glance his way? It frustrated him, but he’s a patient man…usually.

He sighed through his nose in soft frustration as he looked your way. You were sitting on the couch reading a book with a slightly annoyed furrow between your eyebrows.

Xavier took the chance to take a seat next to you on the couch, barely leaving any space between the two of you.

“Baby…” He spoke gently, close to your ear. He waited for a response, but still got none. He sighed softly before speaking again

“Talk to me.” He spoke in a firmer tone, his own eyebrows now furrowing slightly. His head slowly dipped down by your neck. He placed a slow gentle kiss by your jaw and you couldn’t stop yourself from reacting slightly to it.

When you still didn’t respond even after that his lips trailed down to a particularly sensitive spot on your neck and he bit down. The sudden bite caused you to flinch and look up at him.

“Xavier!” You scoffed

“Hm. So you can hear me.” He hummed.
