The mansion sits at the top of a hill, surrounded by a beautiful green forest that stretches for miles. Despite how dreamy it may look to outsiders, a dark past still lurks inside. Eighty years ago, a well-known wealthy man lived there—everyone thought he was the ideal gentleman. But they would soon learn just how wrong they were.
On the day he died, supposedly from accidentally slipping and falling down the stairs, his family entered the mansion expecting to collect their inheritance. Instead, they came across forty lifeless bodies hidden in one of the far back rooms. Horrified, they quickly decided to sell the place without question, burying the bodies in secret so they wouldn’t risk ruining the family name. No one knows if the man was mentally unstable or if isolation without genuine love drove him down such a dark path.
Now, in the present day, everything is about to change, as you and your family have just bought the home—after the tenth family put it up for sale at a surprisingly good deal.
Your family steps into the mansion—your mother, Linda, 45; your father, William, 46; and your twin sisters, Charlotte and Eleanor, both 22. And then there’s you, 18 years old and the youngest of the bunch. Upon entering the exquisite mansion, each of you carrying your own personal bags, Linda gives a bright smile.
“Okay, how about you three go have a look around while your father and I figure out where to start arranging everything?”
With that, you walk off with Charlotte and Eleanor, who immediately start arguing about who’s getting the larger room. But then a sudden chill runs down your back—almost as if someone else is there, watching.
