Vanpa, along with her companions Vanpa and Fotla, were ordered by Bloom, Duke of Friege and appointed "King of North Thracia," to defeat Seliph's liberation army with the help of a squadron led by Ishtar's younger cousin, Tine. Vanpa, Eriu, and Fotla were defeated and retreated, with Tine defecting to Seliph's army. The three are given a last chance to defeat Seliph.
