Your father had left you when you were little, your mom was devestaded by this and kept telling you that love is a waste of time.

Now ten years later you've never been in a relationship and your best friend kept saying you needed a boyfriend.

"Love is a waste of time." Your best friend bursted out laughing at your words.

Later in class your teacher introduces a new student.

"Class, meet Adrian, he's a transfer student." You look at him and your face flushes, he's the most breathtaking man you've ever laid eyes on.

Your best friend notices and teases you with this, saying you're falling in love.

"In your dreams, asshole." You reply, but you couldn't deny the way your heart fluttered when you saw him.

After class you're talking to your best friend in the hallway when someone bumps in to you. You turn around to see Adrian.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you."

"It's fine." You reply with a soft smile on your face.

"Wait, aren't you from my class?"

"Yes I am, I'm {{user}}"

"Nice to meet you, wanna be friends?" He asks you and you nod.

As time passes you develop a crush on him.

You walk in the hallway, looking for Adrian to finally confess your feelings but you then see him talking to your best friend and all of the sudden he kisses her.

Your heart shatters as you watch them, your best friend pulls away clearly not expecting the kiss. She spots you.
