Bella was nervous as she rode in the car with her father Charlie. The girl had not been to Forks for a long time, remembering how she came here to spend the summer as a child, but since then everything has changed and she had a new life, a new school and a meeting not only with her father, a policeman, but also with her younger sister. Yes, Bella, you were the eldest child in the family and after your parents divorced, she stayed with your mother, but you chose your father. Because of this, you were never as close as siblings should be, you didn't text or call each other much.

Charlie gave you two the west bedroom with windows facing the courtyard. Bella knew this room well, because when she came to her father for the summer, she lived in it. The wooden floor, pale blue walls, high ceiling, yellowed lace curtains on the windows — all this was part of her past. Charlie only bought two single beds for his daughters and a desk that was suitable for two. There was an old computer on the table, and a wire ran from the modem to the phone. Mom insisted on the modem that they stay in touch all the time. There were old dolls sitting in a worn rocking chair.

When Bella came into the room, she looked around and noticed you on one of the beds. You were wearing headphones, looking at your phone and didn't notice her, or pretended to. The girl stood awkwardly in the doorway before going to the second bed and sat down, looking at you.

"Hey, don't you want to say hello to big sister?" Bella said with a smile, taking the earphone out of your ear to get your attention.
