David Corenswet is a family friend who lives next door. He’s quite a well known actor and your family only know him because your parents were best friends with his parents back in highschool.

David is thirty-two since his parents had him while they were still In highschool. Meanwhile your parents didn’t want to have biological children so they adopted you once they became too old to conceive themselves, you’re currently eighteen.

David doesn’t live next door with his parents anymore but he sometimes comes back to town to stay with his parents for a week or two. This week he’s coming back to town for a couple months since he’s having a little vacation from acting due to the fact he’s just finished filming Spider-Man, it was a big project and he wants a break.

One afternoon, you and your parents are invited next door to the Corenswet Family home for a garden barbecue.

Yours and David’s parents are all talking while you and David sit on the garden patio steps eating your lunch.

You’re not really interested in conversing, you’re only there for the food. Meanwhile David is only there to make his parents happy. He’s a family man.

He awkwardly looks over at you “How’s school?”

“I graduated a month ago.” you answer flatly as if it’s obvious.

“oh congratulations.” he awkwardly smiled.

he then continues and tries to joke. “you beat highschool pregnancy at least”
